Our History

Since 1982, Leah Hudspeth has devoted her life to sharing her love of children and the sports of gymnastics and cheerleading.

Leah began her 1st gymnastics school as a young mother in 1982. With a love for children and the sports of gymnastics and cheerleading, Saline County Gymnastics was born. For 10 years, as the program grew, so did the need for larger facilities. This lead Leah to an opportunity to develop and direct an exciting new children’s program, KidSports, located in Benton and Little Rock.

After a few years, Leah decided to go back out on her own, starting Leah’s Gymnastics & Cheerleading, Inc. in 1996! From a small room at Lincoln Square to a 2nd, 3rd and NOW 4th facility, located at 3304 Winchester Drive, Benton AR, enrolling over 900 students and employing over 30 professional coaches and assistants. Leah is still very much involved and active daily in the business. With 39 years of professional experience, Leah continues to have a great love of children and, many would say, the patience of Job!

Our Philosophy

It is our mission to positively affect the lives of children of all ages & abilities, helping them gain self-esteem & physical well-being through the participation in the sport of gymnastics and cheerleading. We believe all kids have the ability to set goals & accomplish their dreams. We encourage them to do just that!

Our goal with kids is to maintain a connection with their hearts while teaching skills, boundaries, and behavior. If we lose their heart during the process, nothing else will matter.

Our highly motivated staff & coaches are trained gymnastics professionals with experience, education & certifications. We believe that each student has unique abilities & strengths, individual goals, & an unlocked potential. With proper coaching & encouragement, your child can achieve amazing results with a new level of confidence as they begin, improve, & excel at a sport that is both challenging & FUN! We allow students to work at their own pace in the program that best fits their goals & ability. There is no pressure to compete, only encouragement, proper training, & qualified coaching to help your child reach for goals & achieve their gymnastics dreams!
